Notary Public Deira Dubai: Location, Hours & What to Expect
Everything you need to know before you visit, so you arrive prepared and leave with your documents done.
Since 1997, our Deira office has helped thousands of expats and residents navigate Dubai notary services.
Deira is Dubai's historic business district and has been the centre of the emirate's notary services for decades. Every major court liaison, document submission pathway, and government office in central Dubai flows through or near this area. Our office has been here since 1997; we know every queue, every shortcut, and every court officer by name.
Whether you are a first-time visitor to Dubai or a long-term resident who has simply never needed a notary before, this guide will tell you exactly how to find us, what to expect when you arrive, and how to make your visit as quick and smooth as possible.
The most common frustration we hear from new clients: "I didn't know what to expect." So we have written this to answer every practical question before you pick up your keys.

How to Find Us
Mousa Al Amri Advocates & Legal Consultants
Beniyas Road, Deira, Dubai, UAE
Landmark: Opposite Baniyas Square Metro Station (Green Line)
Short walk from the Gold Souk
Near Deira City Centre
Beniyas Road is one of Deira's main commercial arteries, running through the heart of the district. Our office is on this road, directly opposite Baniyas Square, one of Deira's best-known landmarks and the location of the Baniyas Square Metro Station.
If you are coming from outside Deira, the metro is the simplest option. If you are driving from Downtown Dubai or Business Bay, Beniyas Road is accessible via Al Khaleej Road (E89) or the Deira Corniche route. Allow extra time for the Deira area during peak morning hours.
Getting Here by Metro
The metro is the fastest and most reliable way to reach our office from most parts of Dubai, especially during morning rush hours when Deira road traffic is heavy.
Take the Dubai Metro Green Line to Baniyas Square Station. This station is served by the Green Line (not the Red Line); confirm you are on the correct line before boarding.
Exit through Exit 1 (signposted towards Beniyas Road and the Corniche direction).
Walk approximately 3 minutes south along Beniyas Road. You will see our signage on the right-hand side. Total walking time from the metro platform: under 5 minutes.
Metro tip:
The Green Line also connects to the Red Line at Union Metro Station (one stop from Baniyas Square). If you are coming from Jebel Ali, the Red Line to Union and then one Green Line stop to Baniyas Square is the smoothest route.
Getting Here by Car & Parking
Deira is accessible by car from most parts of Dubai via the Al Maktoum Bridge, Shindagha Tunnel, or Al Khaleej Road. Use "Beniyas Road, Deira" or "Baniyas Square" in Google Maps; both will bring you to within 200 metres of our office.
Street parking on Beniyas Road
Paid street parking is available on and around Beniyas Road. Rates are standard RTA paid parking zone rates. Note: Salik does not apply to the Deira area; you will not pass a toll gate coming from the Deira direction.
Parking timing matters
Street parking fills up quickly on Sunday to Thursday between 9:00am and 11:00am. If you arrive during this window, allow 10–15 minutes for finding a space. After 11:00am, parking is generally easier to find as morning visitors leave.
Deira City Centre parking (5-minute walk)
If street parking is full, Deira City Centre mall has a large paid parking structure a short walk away. This is a reliable fallback during busy morning periods.
Office Hours
| Day | Our Office | Dubai Courts Notary Section |

Important: Courts close earlier than our office
Dubai Courts Notary Public section closes at 2:30pm Sunday to Thursday. If your matter requires a same-day court submission, you must be prepared and at the courts counter well before 2:00pm. We recommend arriving no later than 1:00pm for same-day submissions. We coordinate the timing; just confirm with us first.
Confirm your visit before arriving
WhatsApp us and we will tell you how busy we are right now, whether same-day service is available, and exactly what to bring. Takes 2 minutes and saves an additional visit.
WhatsApp Before You ComeWhat Happens When You Arrive
Most clients are in and out of our office within 30–45 minutes. Here is the typical visit flow for a standard notarization:
Reception and document check
Our reception team will take your name and the type of service you need. We will ask to see your passport and Emirates ID, and review any documents you have brought. This usually takes 5 minutes.
Consultation and document review
One of our legal consultants will sit with you to confirm the scope of your request, review any drafts you have brought, and advise on the correct service. If we are drafting the document for you, we will take the details now. This typically takes 10–20 minutes depending on complexity.
Draft review and approval
We walk you through the prepared document before any submission; you approve the content before we proceed. No surprises at the court counter.
Court escort (if required)
If your matter requires Dubai Courts attendance, we escort you or submit on your behalf. For standard submissions, we handle the queue and liaising; your time at court is typically under an hour.
Collection of stamped document
You collect your notarized, stamped document. We keep a copy on file. We will advise if any further steps (MOFA attestation, translation, etc.) are needed for your specific use case.
Walk-In vs. Appointment: Which Is Better?
We accept both. Here is when each makes sense:
Walk-In
- ✓ Good for simple, quick services (true copies, simple attestation)
- ✓ Flexible: come when it suits you
- ✓ Best outside peak hours (after 11:30am)
- × Longer potential wait on busy mornings
Appointment
- ✓ Prioritized: seen faster than walk-ins
- ✓ Essential for complex matters (POA drafting, wills, company docs)
- ✓ Allows us to prepare everything in advance
- ✓ Best for same-day court submissions
Our recommendation: WhatsApp us 30 minutes before arriving even if you plan to walk in. We can tell you immediately whether we can see you quickly or whether you should book a specific time.
Can I Get Documents Notarized the Same Day in Deira?
Yes, for most standard notarization services. Same-day completion is one of our most requested options, and in most cases we can deliver it.
Usually same-day possible:
Simple attestation and true copies, General Power of Attorney (standard scope), affidavits and declarations, personal document notarization.
Same-day depends on case specifics:
Special POA for property or vehicle (courts queue and document specifics matter), certificate attestation (depends on prior stamps already on document), foreign document attestation (MOFA step usually adds 1–2 days).
Rarely same-day:
Will notarization (requires two witnesses, draft review, full court process), company document notarization with share capital calculations, MOFA attestation for international use.
The single most important factor for same-day service: arrive or confirm by 10:00am. Courts submission cutoff for same-day processing is effectively noon. If you reach us by 10:00am with everything ready, same-day is reliably achievable for standard documents.

Plan to be at courts well before 2:00pm to allow time for processing.
Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?
We accept walk-in clients during all office hours. However, appointment clients are prioritized, so walk-in waiting times can vary, especially Sunday to Tuesday mornings which are our busiest periods. If you WhatsApp us 30 minutes before arriving, we can tell you how busy we are and whether you can expect to be seen quickly. For complex matters like company POAs or will drafting, we strongly recommend booking a specific appointment slot.
Can I get a document notarized on the same day in Deira?
Yes, for most standard documents including simple attestations, affidavits, and General POAs. Same-day service is most reliably available for appointments confirmed before 10:00am. Documents submitted to Dubai Courts need to be in before noon for same-day processing. WhatsApp us in the morning to confirm same-day availability and what to bring; we will give you an honest answer based on that day's schedule.
