Under Law No. (4) of 2013 Concerning Notaries Public in the Emirate of Dubai, a POA notarized by a Dubai Courts licensed private notary carries the same legal validity as one notarized before the courts' public notary.
POAs are commonly used by expatriates managing property, businesses, or legal matters in the UAE while residing abroad, or by residents who need to delegate authority for specific transactions.
