Document Notarization FAQ

What documents can be notarized in Dubai?

Almost any legal document can be notarized in Dubai: personal declarations, business agreements, powers of attorney, affidavits, true copies, certified translations, and more. Some documents (e.g., foreign legal documents) may require additional steps such as MOFA attestation.

How much does document notarization cost in Dubai?

Dubai Courts notarization fees vary by document type and are set by the government. Simple notarizations can start from AED 100–200. Our service fee is charged separately. WhatsApp us with your document type for a precise quote.

How long does document notarization take?

Most standard documents can be notarized within a few hours or on the same day if you visit our office in the morning. Documents requiring translation or additional authentication may take 1–2 business days.

Can I notarize a document from another country in Dubai?

Yes. Foreign documents can be notarized in Dubai, but they typically need to be apostilled or attested by the issuing country's authorities first, then further attested by MOFA (UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs) before Dubai Courts notarization. We guide you through this process.

Do I need to be present for document notarization?

For most documents, yes. The signatory must be present to confirm their identity and intention. Some documents can be notarized by a representative if a valid POA authorizing them has been notarized in advance.
