Document Complexity

A simple true copy takes minutes. A multi-property Special POA with specific attestation-chain clauses requires careful drafting. Complexity drives the professional fee.

Number of Parties

Dubai Courts charges AED 100 per party and AED 100 per signature. A two-party agreement costs less than a four-party instrument.

Urgency

Standard MOFA: AED 150, 1–3 days. Express same-day MOFA: AED 300. Most documents notarized in-office the same day when you arrive with all originals.

Frequently Asked Questions: Notary Fees Dubai

How much does a notary cost in Dubai in 2026?

Dubai notary fees in 2026 start from AED 150 for a simple certified true copy and go up to AED 500+ for a Will or complex Power of Attorney. Government fees (Dubai Courts registration, MOFA attestation at AED 150 standard or AED 300 express) are separate from our service fee and set by UAE authorities. We provide a full itemized quote before any work begins.

Are the fees shown inclusive of MOFA attestation?

No. The service fees listed cover document drafting and notarization at our Deira office. MOFA attestation is a separate UAE government fee: AED 150 standard, AED 300 for same-day express. If your document needs consulate authentication, that fee is also listed separately. Every charge is itemized before you commit.

What is the Dubai Courts regulated notary fee in 2026?

Effective 2 January 2026, Dubai Courts set a base fee of AED 100 per party to the instrument plus AED 100 per signature. These are government charges levied by Dubai Courts separately from our professional service fee. Our professional fee covers document drafting, legal review, and coordination with Dubai Courts. Both are itemized clearly in your quote.

Why do notary fees vary between documents?

Three factors drive the final cost: document complexity (a multi-party Special POA requires more drafting time than a simple true copy), number of parties (Dubai Courts charges per party and per signature), and urgency (same-day MOFA costs AED 300 vs AED 150 standard). We explain all factors clearly when we quote.

Is VAT charged on notary services in Dubai?

Notary services in the UAE are subject to 5% VAT. Our quoted prices include VAT. Government fees charged by Dubai Courts and MOFA are passed through at the official rate without additional markup.

Can I get a quote before visiting your Deira office?

Yes: WhatsApp us your document details and we provide a complete cost breakdown within business hours. Most clients prefer to confirm the total before making the trip. There is no charge for the initial quote.

How do your fees compare to mobile notary services in Dubai?

Mobile visiting notary services charge a regulated visit fee on top of the standard notarization fee. Our Deira office handles everything in-house with no visiting surcharge. WhatsApp us to compare the total cost for your specific document.
