Can a non-resident have a document notarized in the UAE?+
Yes. Both UAE residents and non-residents can have documents such as a Power of Attorney notarized in Dubai. Non-residents typically need to appear in person at Dubai Courts or have the document authenticated through the UAE Embassy in their country.
Does the document have to be in Arabic?+
A document notarized in Dubai must include an Arabic version — Arabic is the official language of UAE courts and government departments. We draft bilingually in Arabic and English so the document is accepted by Dubai Courts and remains usable by you.
Is an online notarization as valid as attending in person?+

What if my document also needs to be used outside the UAE?+
Documents intended for use abroad usually need UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) attestation after notarization, and sometimes embassy legalization as well. We handle the full chain: Dubai Courts notarization, then MOFA, then embassy attestation if required.
