Send Us the Document List First
Share the documents with us before you travel. Our team checks them and confirms the price, because there are certain documents we cannot certify — that check is what makes same-day possible when you arrive.
Bring the Originals to Our Deira Office
Visit with the original documents and your own Emirates ID, so we can verify the documents are in your name. Bank statements must be on the bank's letterhead with the bank stamp — a plain printout from the banking app cannot be certified.
Certified While You Wait
We produce an accurate copy and our licensed notary certifies it as a true and faithful reproduction of the original. Once the documents have been checked in advance, one document with the original in hand usually takes 15–30 minutes.
Certified True Copy vs. Simple Photocopy
A simple photocopy or scan carries no legal weight. Any institution receiving it has no way to verify it matches the original; they only have your word. A certified true copy adds the notary's official stamp, signature, and legal declaration that the copy was compared against the original and found to be accurate.
For banking, immigration, attestation chains, employment verification, and court submissions, institutions in the UAE and internationally require the certified version, not a plain photocopy. Submitting an uncertified copy will result in the application or submission being returned.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a certified true copy and when is it required in Dubai?+
A certified true copy is a copy of an original document that has been authenticated by a licensed notary, confirming it is an accurate reproduction of the original. It is required when an institution (a bank, government body, employer, or court) needs assurance that a copy they receive matches the original. It is commonly required for UAE visa applications, banking due diligence, professional licence applications, and international attestation chains.
Is a certified true copy the same as a notarized copy?+
Yes, these terms are used interchangeably in Dubai. A notarized true copy and a certified true copy both refer to a copy authenticated by a licensed notary. The document carries the notary's official seal, signature, and date, making it legally recognized by UAE authorities and many international institutions.
Can I get a true copy without the original document?+
No. The original document must be presented to the notary at the time of certification. This is required so the notary can verify the copy matches the original in every detail. We cannot certify a copy from another copy, a scan, or a photograph. Please bring your original document to our Deira office.
How much does a certified true copy cost in Dubai?+
Our fee starts at AED 180 per document. Share your document list with us first and we will confirm the price before you visit — bank statements and multi-document sets are quoted together rather than each at the full rate, so it is worth listing everything you need in one message.
Which documents can you certify as a true copy?+
Passports, Emirates IDs, DEWA and SEWA bills, title deeds, and bank statements issued by UAE banks. Bank statements must be on the bank's letterhead with the bank stamp — a statement printed from the banking app or portal without a stamp cannot be certified. Send us what you have and we will confirm before you travel, as there are some documents we are not able to certify.
How long does true copy attestation take?+
It is done the same day while you wait. Once you have sent the documents ahead for checking, one document with the original in hand usually takes 15–30 minutes at our Deira office.
How many certified copies can I get at one time?+
You can request multiple certified true copies of the same document in one visit. Each copy receives its own notary stamp and certification. Many clients request 3–5 copies of important documents, for example, degree certificates needed by multiple institutions or banks.
