Online Notary Dubai
Remote notarization through Dubai Courts via a UAE Pass video call — notarize eligible documents without visiting in person.
What is Online Notarization in Dubai?
Online notarization (e-notary) lets you sign and notarize eligible documents in a video-call session instead of attending the notary office. Your identity is verified through UAE Pass, the UAE's national digital identity, and the session is conducted under Dubai Courts' remote notarization framework.
The result is the same legally valid notarized document you would receive in person — commonly used for Powers of Attorney, declarations, and acknowledgments where the signatory cannot easily attend in Deira.
Not every document qualifies for the remote route, and requirements depend on the document type and parties. We confirm eligibility for your specific document before anything is booked — and if in-person attendance is required, our office is a short walk from Union Metro Station.
When Online Notarization Makes Sense
Power of Attorney
Many general and special POAs can be notarized remotely — useful when the principal cannot attend our Deira office in person.
Acknowledgments & Declarations
Eligible declarations and acknowledgments can be completed in a remote session, subject to Dubai Courts requirements for the document type.
Busy Professionals & Parents
Complete the notarization from your office or home during business hours instead of travelling to Deira.
Clients Outside Dubai
If you are elsewhere in the UAE, remote notarization can save the trip. If you are overseas, WhatsApp us — the right route depends on your document and location.
How the UAE Pass Video-Call Process Works
Send Your Documents on WhatsApp
Share your document details and copies of your passport and Emirates ID. We confirm whether your document type is eligible for remote notarization and what is needed.
Drafting & Review
Our legal team drafts your document bilingually in Arabic and English to Dubai Courts standards and sends it to you for review and approval before any session is booked.
UAE Pass Identity Verification
Remote notarization uses your UAE Pass digital identity. If you do not have UAE Pass set up yet, we will guide you through activating it before the session.
Video-Call Notarization Session
You join a scheduled video call, your identity is verified, and the document is signed and notarized remotely. The notarized document is issued digitally.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is an online notarized document legally valid in Dubai?
Yes. A document notarized through Dubai Courts' remote video-call process carries the same legal validity as one notarized in person. The notarization is performed under the same legal authority — only the appearance is remote.
Do I need UAE Pass for online notarization?
Yes. Remote notarization sessions verify your identity through UAE Pass, the UAE's national digital identity. Most UAE residents can activate UAE Pass with their Emirates ID. We will guide you through setup if you have not used it before.
Can every document be notarized online?
No. Eligibility depends on the document type and the parties involved — some documents still require personal attendance. WhatsApp us your document details and we will confirm whether the remote route is available for your case, or arrange an in-office appointment if not.
Can I notarize a Power of Attorney online from outside the UAE?
It depends on your situation and the document. In some cases the remote route works; in others the correct path is notarization through the UAE Embassy in your country, followed by attestation. Send us the details on WhatsApp and we will confirm the right route before you spend anything.
How long does online notarization take?
Once your document is drafted and approved and your UAE Pass is active, the remote session itself is short. Overall timing depends on document complexity and session availability — we confirm the expected timeline when we review your documents.
